All 40 Maths Hubs offer a range of different professional development opportunities. These ‘projects’ – listed below – cover mathematical subject knowledge and pedagogy in all educational phases. Their design continues to acknowledge the need to address gaps in attainment - whatever the cause - as well as focusing on long-term sustainable improvements in maths.

When you take part in a project with your Maths Hub, you will engage in one of four types of professional development activity - a Work Group, a programme, a community, or Targeted Support in Maths. All of these are structured to enable teachers and schools to take part flexibly online and face-to-face.
