An interview with Louise George, headteacher of Walford Primary School
Louise George is headteacher of Walford Primary School, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire. In school year 2016-2017, the school participated in a Teaching for Mastery Work Group (also known as a Teacher Research Group, or TRG) led by a Mastery Specialist working with the Salop and Herefordshire Maths Hub. Here, in a 12-minute video, she explains how her school came to decide to join the programme, and how it’s led to an all-round improvement in maths attainment at the school.
