Evaluating our programmes in 2025/26
An overview of how the NCETM is working with the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) in 2025/26
The Maths Hubs Programme is embarking on a significant milestone: an independent evaluation, funded by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), of the Specialist Knowledge for Teaching Mathematics (SKTM) Programme for Secondary Non-specialist Teachers, and the Mastering Number at Reception and KS1 Programme in 2025/26.
The SKTM Programme and Mastering Number at Reception and KS1 will be assessed through randomised controlled trials (RCTs)—the gold standard for educational research. Participating Maths Hubs are listed below.
